An enthusiastic crowd was on hand at the trail's edge stage in Stanley Park this afternoon to watch B.C. musician Aidan Knight perform.

The overcast sky cleared up in time for Knight to play the aptly titled track "The Sun", one of many songs from the artist's Versicolour record that the band offered up during an impressive set.

Knight and his band covered off multiple instruments, including two band members who switched effortlessly between trumpet, xylophone, and creative percussion, which included beating drum sticks against the side of the stage.

After a mellow set that seemed an ideal match for a beautiful afternoon in Stanley Park, the band finished with the upbeat single "Jasper", which had the crowd in front of the stage dancing and singing along.

Other acts scheduled for the final day of the Summer Live festival this evening include the Vancouver Symphony Orchestra, the Belle Game, Spirit of the West, We are the City, Dan Mangan, and Hey Ocean!
