Shit steaks and turd burgers not on the menu—yet

      It was astonishing news: a Japanese scientist had invented a meat made from the proteins in human excrement.

      Fox News, the Daily Mail, L.A. Weekly, and other websites all recently carried the story.

      Unfortunately, for those of you excited about trying out a poo burger, the tale is almost surely a whopper.

      Writers for Forbes and Salon looking into the story say this mysterious YouTube video appears to be the only source for the reports:

      Somewhere, somebody is probably sporting a great big shit-eating grin.

      Wow! And they might be able to sell it for the SAME price as real meat! Hmmmmm Angus beef or a shit burger? It must be a Japanese thing.
