New season of Don't Quit Your Gay Job gets under the gun with the police

Thinking about a career change? Wondering what it might be like to explore a different field of work?

You're in luck—the daring duo of Sean Horlor and Rob Easton have come to the rescue by doing it for you. In spades. The local hosts of Don't Quit Your Gay Job are back with a fresh season of their Vancouver-shot lifestyle TV series.

Unfamiliar with the show, you say? It's an adventurous premise: the brave pair check out a different profession in each episode and they compete to see who can master the requisite skills better. They've tackled such wildly unrelated things as curling, stripping, horseback riding, hockey playing, performing in drag, and bus-driving.

Here's a glimpse of what to expect on the season premiere (on September 5 on OutTV at 7:30 p.m. PT) in which they get all Village People with the boys in blue:

At this year's Leo Awards (B.C.'s film and TV awards), the show received three nominations: best information or lifestyle series, best director (Nicky Forsman), and best hosts (who gave us their best red carpet poses). Unfortunately, they were shut out. But, of course, the show must go on.

Here's a sneak peek at what the entire season has to offer.
