Nothing says seasons greetings like a holiday tree made out of water bottles

Here's something a little different than gargantuan houses covered with a ridiculously wasteful amount of Christmas lights.

It's a holiday tree constructed out of a whole lot of used plastic water bottles.

According to the hard-news journalists at the Associated Press, staff at a hotel in China did it in order to raise environmental awareness and promote recycling.

So, the next time you're sipping Fiji Water and celebrating the holidays, think of this tree and weep.
