A group of Swedish musicians have launched an artists’ collective and record label called Ingrid. The 14 musicians involved include singer Lykke Li, and members of rock bands Peter Bjorn and John, Miike Snow, Teddybears, and Bloodshy & Avant.

In a news release, the members of Ingrid stated that the idea to form the collective and record label came over “numerous cups of pitch black coffee at Mellqvist’s in Stockholm,” and questioned, “Isn’t there more to life than world tours, indie cred, and empty pockets?” The statement also revealed that Ingrid plans to offer a home to upcoming artists and musicians, and will create opportunities for collaboration.

Here are two videos promoting Ingrid:

Seriously obsessed with Lykke Li, really excited to see what she does with this. Her voice reminds me a lot of the lead singer's of Gossip, can't wait for their new album on 5/22!
