Yeesh! Adam Sandler out-razzes the competition with clean sweep at 32nd Razzie Awards

For the first time in the 32-year history of the Razzie Awards, one film collected all 10 of the Golden Raspberry Awards.

That momentous dishonour goes to none other than the Adam Sandler bombbuster Jack and Jill, which was trashed by 97 percent of critics on Rotten Tomatoes (which also makes you wonder who the other three percent were).

The cross-dressing comedy staved off competition from other stankfests including The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn—Part 1, Transformers: Dark of the Moon, and New Year's Eve. Well, Sandler was already in the lead heading into the awards by amassing a record 11 nominations for himself alone. (Talk about hoarding behaviour.)

But that was just the start of his trashy record-setting streak in the race for the bottom.

Sandler is the first nominee to win not only worst actor but also worst actress (he also portrayed Jill, the female twin sister of Jack). And Sandler wasn't the only drag; David Spade won worst supporting actress (Spade played the female character Monica).

Oscar-award winning Al Pacino took worst supporting actor. Sandler paired with either Pacino, Katie Holmes, or himself was named worst screen couple. This category was opened up to public voting for the first time.

Both Sandler (worst actor) and Dennis Dugan (worst director) won their awards for their "work" in both Jack & Jill and Just Go With It.

And to bring things full circle, Jack and Jill was named worst remake or rip-off; it was a remake of Ed Wood's Glen or Glenda, which is considered to be one of the worst films ever made. (Needless to say, the decision to choose the source material should've received an award itself.)

Breaking with tradition, the anti-Oscars awards were moved from the night before the Oscars to April Fool's Day (April 1) this year to add to the festivities.

Will anyone ever be able to out-low Sandler's record? Will Jack and Jill go down in history as the worst film ever? We'll have to stay tuned until next year, true disbelievers.
