Ron James at the Centennial Theatre

One of the most successful and enduring standups in the country is Ron James. You’ve seen the animated comic all over the TV, from his own program, The Ron James Show, on CBC (currently in its third season) to his five comedy specials. In between, he plays every burg and whistle stop in this great land, putting on a breathless 90-minute performance. You may occasionally think he’s lost his way during his tangent-filled soliloquy, but he always manages to bring it all around. His B.C. tour stops at North Van’s Centennial Theatre on Friday and Saturday (May 4 and 5).
