The Georgia Straight is currently seeking a part-time, entry level Graphic Designer. The successful candidate will work closely with the Art Department to create a wide range of marketing materials, as well as support in newspaper, magazine and web production.

The position requirements are:

• Degree or diploma in graphic design
• Advanced CS Suite
• Demonstrated design skills and creative
problem-solving abilities
• Reliable self starter who can work under tight deadlines and is extremely organized
• Knowledge of print design and web production
• Ability to interact effectively with a range of departments including editorial, sales and web
