Every week, the people at OpenMedia.ca, a Vancouver-based nonprofit organization that advocates an open and affordable Internet, bring us up to date on Canada's telecom news and their campaigns.

The global pro-Internet community is engaged in the fight against the Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP), an secretive international agreement that includes unprecedentedly restrictive copyright measures, which could effectively lock down the Internet. But around the world we're pushing forward for Internet openness and succeeding on many fronts—together we can be effective against the TPP as well.
