Soul to Go concert at Fraserview Church

The 90-plus-voice City Soul Choir should be rocking some extra rhythm in its spring concert: the ensemble just got back from an April cultural exchange to Cuba. Along with the Afro-Cuban fare, the program is a spicy mix, with an original composition by local First Nations artist Russell Wallace, a Sacred Harp piece, and a blend of gospel, pop, folk, and world music, all accompanied by a live band. The Soul to Go concert happens Saturday (June 9) at Fraserview Church in Richmond (11295 Mellis Drive).
