Kaskade at the PNE Forum

It’s great to know that Cascade is no longer just for getting your dishes spotless and gleaming. Just like Skrillex is more than a power tool, Kaskade also happens to be the name of the man voted the best DJ in America last year. Not only that, he wasn’t given the honour in some fly-by-night poll, but instead by the well-respected New York monthly DJ Times. Something of a late bloomer, the man known to his car mechanic as Ryan Raddon has attained superstar status in the past few years, which explains while you’ll find him headlining the PNE Forum this Saturday (August 11). And playing events like Lollapalooza this past weekend. Instead of, you know, appearing on the Strawberry Jam stage at the Puyallup Fair. Where, incidentally, people would no doubt arrive expecting to load up on a great cleaning product, but instead end up evacuating their bowels into their pants thanks to Kaskade’s penchant for explosive dubstep, deep house, and whatever else is making EDM performers the new rock stars of today.
