They’re known for playing the classics like you’ve never heard them before: the Art of Time Ensemble kicks off the Music in the Morning season in innovative style this Wednesday to Friday (September 12 to 14) at the Vancouver Academy of Music at the bright-and-early hour of 10:30 a.m. Directed by pianist Andrew Burashko (shown here), the group will be tackling the work of Erich Korngold, including his Suite Op. 23 for piano, two violins, and cello, in its performances here. Think lush, late-Romantic work imbued with fresh energy and emotion. Not a bad way to start the day, eh?
