You were a great kisser and probably a lot more sober than I was. Being as inebriated as I was early Sunday morning, I didn't expect myself to recall much but I remember so...
"The adjective hasn't yet been built that can pull a weak or inaccurate noun out of a tight place." - The Elements of Style
Many a journalist or writer has read Will Strunk and E. B. White's classic The Elements of Style. In the YouTube age, that necessitates a rap version. Journalism, baby!
And so it goes: robot prose. What's good for journalism and corporate communications isn't good for all writing. Thanks to Strunk and White I can't get florid or disjoint my style without being shamed like a child molester by twenty-year-old "experts." Even worse: I've internalized that shame.
