Paul McCartney gives peace a chance at Vancouver concert

    1 of 1 2 of 1

Paul McCartney just played what is arguably the greatest Beatles song ever, "A Day In the Life". He tossed in a snippet of John Lennon's "Give Peace a Chance", and—with a giant peace sign behind the stage—the crowd responded like it thought that would be a good idea. Now he's doing "Let it Be", which is arguably the greatest... Oh, never mind.

Steve Newton is filing items of interest from the Paul McCartney show at B.C. Place. Check out his full review tomorrow and follow him on Twitter @earofnewt (if you feel like it).

Fantastic concert . Much better than expected, his energy level is unbelievable. Incredible supporting group of excellent musicians. Best concert in a very long time. 3 hours straight had the crowd on their feet.
