He may be the fastest-rising DJ in Vancouver, but Paul Devereux still can't get people to spell his name right. Now going under the name Paul Devro, the Port Alberni native has a boundless enthusiasm for new music and an excellent grasp of dance-floor dynamics-a killer combination that has launched him to the forefront of Vancouver's club scene.

"It was a lingerie party for this girl's 19th birthday party. All the girls got really drunk and we had makeout competitions where you could win digital cameras and stuff. The birthday girl ended up making out with, like, 10 different guys by the end of the night. I couldn't believe that you could get paid for dancing, drinking, and playing records in your pyjamas all night."
