The sign may not yet be up at Chocoatl (1127 Mainland Street, 604-676-9977), but Brandon Tam and Themis Velgis's new spot is already drawing chocoholics. Several kinds of hot chocolate are on offer-and not the usual. Flavours include lavender, rose, spicy, the Montezuma (made with white chocolate and mandarin oranges), and the Queen Isabella, made with corn. Other flavours wait in the offing, plus pastries.
