Rattle Shake, a six-night festival of musical mayhem, kicks off this Wednesday (October 13) with Winnipeg's Telepathic Butterflies and Vancouver's the Neins at the Railway Club. Other highlights include a CD release party (also at the Railway) on Thursday (October 14), for local roots king Herald Nix's fine new record What a World, some young punk banjo-picker from Halifax who calls himself Old Man Luedecke at the Main on Thursday (October 14).
