Royal Oak Traditional Bitter

Ah, a brew to "celebrate Charles II's escape from the Roundheads in the branches of a great oak". Set your sights on Royal Oak Traditional Bitter (500 millilitres, $4.95 in selected LDB stores) and you'll be rewarded by "a long and rewarding bitter finish", plus "a royal partner to your cheese board". Hearty, full, and deep, it may mean you never go back to a "light" beer again-if, in fact, you ever went there in the first place.
