For those astute indie rockers out there who also happen to be readers of Vogue, yes, that is indeed the Organ's Katie Sketch in the Marc Jacobs ad on page four of the current issue. New York fashion designer Jacobs seems to have a penchant for rock 'n' rollers. White Stripes drummer Meg White is also featured in current ads, and past campaigns have employed the likes of Sonic Youth and Stephen Malkmus. Things are certainly happening for the Organ these days. In November, the Vancouver-based band toured the U.K. as an opening act for veteran Brit-rock act the Wedding Present. In December, British label Too Pure announced the Organ as the latest addition to its roster, which also includes the likes of Scout Niblett, Stereolab, and Electrelane. Too Pure will rerelease the Organ's debut album, Grab That Gun, in April.
