Acclaimed star Midori joins the Vancouver Symphony Orchestra on Saturday and Monday (January 12 and 14) at the Orpheum to put her strings to Johannes Brahms’s Violin Concerto in D Major, a dramatic, bow-breaking barrage of fractured chords and lightning-speed scale passages.
