Fujiwara dance inventions' No Exit at the Firehall Arts Centre
A riff on Jean-Paul Sartre seems just the existentialist experience for this drizzly, cold January. Head down to the Firehall Arts Centre from Wednesday to next Saturday (January 16 to 19) for Fujiwara dance inventions’ dance-theatre exploration No Exit. As in the famous play, three people meet in the hell of a locked room. It shows as a double bill with the same company’s equally creative philosophical puzzle Lost & Found, in which choreographer-dancer Denise Fujiwara herself plays a woman who has “lost her intangibles”.
