Boeing-Boeing at the Stanley Industrial Alliance Stage

Boeing-Boeing is the most performed French play in the world, and no wonder: with a setting in to-die-for swinging-’60s Paris, it’s a farce about an architect who’s trying to juggle three airline stewardesses (this was long before they were called flight attendants, kids) from his groovy bachelor pad. Written by Marc Camoletti, Boeing-Boeing enjoyed a hit Broadway revival as recently as 2008, and its comic genius continues to soar. The Arts Club Theatre Company sets it for takeoff on Wednesday (January 30), running to February 24 at the Stanley Industrial Alliance Stage. The charismatic Jonathon Young plays Casanova to Gloria (Kimberley Sustad), Gabriella (Moya O’Connell), and Gretchen (Colleen Wheeler)—or “America,” “Italy”, and “Germany”, as he likes to call them.
