Seattle painter Kellie Talbot has a great eye for the neon signs, grain elevators, and architectural details of the urban-industrial U.S. Her new solo show at the Smash Gallery (580 Clark Drive), called American Landscape, should appeal to anyone with a taste for old cityscapes. Look for the almost photographic detail of rust streaking down from a motel sign or circling the bottoms of stacked oil barrels.
