It’s elementary, my dear: you just head over the Ironworkers Memorial Bridge, turn right, and find your way to North Van’s charming Deep Cove Shaw Theatre. There, First Impressions Theatre is performing the Canadian premiere of Holmes and Watson Save the Empire! The irreverent musical mystery finds the famous detective team (Damon Calderwood and Gordon Roberts) trying to solve a deadly puzzle. The show has book and lyrics by Jahnna Beecham and Malcolm Hillgartner, with live accompaniment by Chris Robson (piano) and Renée Bulat (violin). It runs from Wednesday (February 27) to March 16.
