Esther Rausenberg takes helm at Vancouver’s Eastside Culture Crawl

Vancouver artist Esther Rausenberg is taking the helm of the Eastside Culture Crawl, an annual festival that gives people a glimpse inside local visual-arts studios.

Rausenberg has been appointed to the role of executive director, the Eastside Culture Crawl board of directors has announced.

“A founding artist in the Culture Crawl, Esther is a well-known artist and tireless advocate for the arts in Vancouver,” reads a statement from the organization.

“She brings strong skills in communications, stakeholder networking, fundraising and administration in the not-for-profit sector.”

The 17th-annual Eastside Culture Crawl, a free event where hundreds of artists open their creative workspaces to public visitors, takes place November 15 to 17.
