The Georgia Straight is proud to host a live webcast of Theatre for Living’s šxʷʔam'ət (home).

This daring interactive production invites the audience to participate in a story of reconciliation.

It also offers a valuable lesson in the impact of residential school on an indigenous man and the consequences of unacknowledged racism.

The play begins tonight (March 11) at 7:30 p.m. The coverage begins with a pre-show at 7:15 p.m.

All you have to do is press “play” on the YouTube video when the production begins to see it all unfold at the Firehall Arts Centre.

To communicate with an actor at the Firehall Arts Centre, proceed to Theatre for Living’s web-access link, where you’ll find a chat window that will let you suggest an addition to the play.

For more information about how interactive elements work, read the Straight’s review of šxʷʔam'ət (home) by Andrea Warner.

      Enjoy the show.
