This Thursday (April 2), a group called Free Association is turning the Fortune Sound Club into a one-night, multi-room, pop-up art and music festival. We’re talking dozens of visual, design, and music artists converging on spaces that will look a little like the one shown here. Hot names involved include 1080p, Knauf & Brown, Peace Library, Club Gear, and Strawberry Jacuzzi. Among the draws, Knauf & Brown is creating a group art show called Unlimited Edition, inviting designers, painters, illustrators, and photographers to create posters that will be on sale. Elsewhere, look for live DJ sets (the event is a collaboration with Blueprint’s SEASONS Electronic Music Festival), a black-light gallery, an interactive library, art installations, zine displays, and much more. The sensory explosion runs from 7 p.m. to 2 a.m.
