The press release on Tommy Tiernan’s latest tour tells us that Tiernan is “starting to take some very exciting risks”.

The Irish standup comic and storyteller has never been averse to risk, so his Out of the Whirlwind show, which hits the Vogue Theatre on Wednesday (April 22), should be a doozy. He’s never skirted controversy, having landed in hot water over the years for various comedic missteps, but that’s never been his intention. He’s still a gentle soul deep down.

We’re the last stop on Tiernan’s six-city Canadian mini-tour and considering he only makes it over the Atlantic to us every two years, you’d best catch him while you can.
