Sure, it’s a chance to check out local stage celebs collecting their trophies for the best plays throughout the year, but thanks to the host-producers from the Vancouver TheatreSports League there are all kinds of hilarious, unexpected surprises too.

The annual celebration happens Monday (June 22) at the Commodore Ballroom. The Arts Club Theatre Company and Théâtre la Seizième are front-runners this year; get out and root for your favourite productions and stars.
