We can’t think of more atmospheric digs than the legendary Cobalt for the riotous musical Hedwig and the Angry Inch. In the off-Broadway smash, the glam transgender German singer tells her life story as her band rocks the stage. Ghost Light Projects brings the story to life, with Ryan Alexander McDonald in the title role, Lee McKeown as her embittered sidekick, and the Kat Gillis Band as the Angry Inch—named, infamously, for poor Hedwig’s botched sex-change operation. The show starts Saturday (October 5) and runs until November 2.
