The grand, old-world church on West 45th Avenue has always been known for its outstanding acoustics. Now a few of the choirs that call it home are throwing a concert to raise money to bring Ryerson United Church to an even higher standard.

On Saturday (September 19), Elektra Women’s Choir (shown here), EnChor, Ryerson Church Choir, and the Vancouver Bach Children’s Chorus will join voices in a benefit hosted by Vancouver Symphony Orchestra maestro Bramwell Tovey.

The show, called ReSounding Ryerson is like a choral sampler as the arts season gets going—and a chance to hear what the historic facility can do for music.
