Unusual toys on offer at Hot Art Wet City gallery
1 of 1 2 of 1
Until Saturday (December 21) at Hot Art Wet City gallery, you can find toys that are the antithesis of the big-box-store, mass-produced variety. Artists including Noisy Bees, Cherry Thompson, Arlyn Bantog, Erin Gibbs, Kat Oughton, Melissa Soleski, and Colin Johnson (whose Eyebots are shown here) have fashioned a wild variety of creative playthings for kids of all ages. Think hand-sewn dolls, customized vinyl toys, crocheted creatures, and all kinds of weird and wonderful one-of-a-kind presents.

"Unusual Toys" is an unpropitious title--it suggests "other things."
