Capture Photography Festival and The Georgia Straight are looking for photographers that can tell a story.

Photographers of all backgrounds are invited to submit one or two images that respond to the theme “Authenticity in Documentary-style Photography” for a chance to have their work displayed publicly.

The winning photograph(s) will be exhibited on the exterior of King Edward Canada Line Station as part of the Capture Canada Line Public Art Installation.

The artist will also be paid a $500 fee and receive prizing from the Straight. Shortlisted artists will each receive a $100 gift certificate to London Drugs Photolab.

The Capture Photography Festival is a not-for-profit photography event committed to celebrating local and international lens-based art. The festival returns to Vancouver from April 1 to 28, 2016, with a series of high-profile exhibitions from some of the city's most well-known galleries, as well as community-based workshops, tours, artist talks, films, and panel discussions.
