A popular Pick of the 2014 Vancouver Fringe Festival, …didn’t see that coming is a must-see for fans of Beverley Elliott (probably best known for her turn in the hit Mom’s the Word and her role in Once Upon a Time). In it, the charismatic comedic actor brings to life a candid string of personal anecdotes, from tales about Internet dating to experiences performing in bars. It’s also an opportunity to listen to her rich singing voice.

The one-woman show runs at the Gateway Theatre until Saturday (November 21).
