Two of Vancouver’s most recognized contemporary art galleries are hosting a joint-opening this Saturday (November 21).

The opening comes after the relocation of Gallery Jones to The Flats—a booming contemporary art hub in East Vancouver—where it now occupies a shared space with Winsor Gallery.

Winsor Gallery will present The Edition 2015: a set of artist multiples by Dana Claxton, Colin Smith, Allan Switzer, Paul Beliveau, and Andy Dixon, while Gallery Jones will be exhibiting a collection of new work from represented gallery artists.

The two galleries’ owners will be on site for the event, as well as a bevy of renowned contemporary artists including Fiona Ackerman, Paul Wong, Dana Claxton, and Jeff Depner.

The opening takes place at the joint gallery space (258 East 1st Avenue) from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m.
