Patton Oswalt at the Vogue Theatre

Patton Oswalt may have more jokes about being a father now that he is one, but the nerd king will still throw a bone to his fellow comicbook and sci-fi fans when he plays the Vogue Theatre on Friday (February 21) as part of the Northwest Comedy Fest. He’s a well-respected thespian (Young Adult, Big Fan), voice-over actor (Ratatouille, The Simpsons), and author (Zombie Spaceship Wasteland), but it’s his standup that has made him who he is. He’s such a craftsman that Jerry Seinfeld, who one senses has a very particular set of criteria a standup comic must adhere to, invited him on his excellent web series, Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee. What did the two talk about? Among other things, Patton’s daughter and superheroes, naturally.
