The Bomb-itty of Errors at the Arts Club’s Revue Stage

It’s one of the funniest shows we’ve ever seen—and we’ve seen a lot of ’em. Originally produced in Vancouver in 2012 by Twenty Something Theatre and Temporary Thing, The Bomb-itty of Errors is a rap adaptation of Shakespeare’s The Comedy of Errors. DJ Oker Chen spins live, the rapping is as skilled as it is hilarious—listen for local Vancouver references—and having four guys play all of the parts, including the women, boots the evening into the comedy stratosphere. The cast (Brian Cochrane, David Kaye, Niko Koupantsis, and Jameson Parker) won a Jessie for significant artistic achievement in 2012. Designer Vanessa Imeson also took home a trophy for her outrageous costumes and sculpted wigs. Get your freak on at the Arts Club’s Revue Stage from next Wednesday (April 16) to May 10.
