Social-media gossip and double standards about teen sex for boys versus girls: those are just some of the timely topics in a new play put on by Vancouver youth with Some Assembly Theatre Company artists. Dream Catchers, written and performed by local teens under the guidance of Some Assembly’s pros, takes place during the countdown to graduation, when nine teenagers setting their sights on life after high school learn the power of words to damage. The show takes place until May 3 at the Roundhouse Community Arts and Recreation Centre.
