It’s a clash of coasts when a Newfoundlander moves to Alaska at the height of crab-fishing season, looking for a job. When a woman appears in the picture, past and present become one for the Newfoundlander.

The Out Vigil marks Twenty Something Theatre’s return to their Spotlight on Emerging Playwrights program. It’s Vancouver artist and playwright Julie McIsaac’s emotive and captivating first play.

The show runs Thursday to Saturday (May 29 to 31) at 8 p.m. at the Havana Theatre (1212 Commercial Drive), with a special pay-what-you-can preview on tonight (May 28).
