Has it really been eight years since Jen Kirkman last played Vancouver? Where does the time go? Meanwhile, Kirkman just keeps getting better and better.

When she’s not round-tabling it on Chelsea Lately, Southie (as her bestie, Paul F. Tompkins, calls her) is penning New York Times bestsellers (“I Can Barely Take Care of Myself”), putting out standup albums (her latest, “Hail to the Freaks”, got as high as 13th on the Billboard charts), hosting a weekly podcast (“I Seem Fun: The Diary of Jen Kirkman Podcast”) and touring her act. Which brings her—finally—back to Vancouver. To the Comedy MIX, to be exact.

Kirkman headlines the club Friday and Saturday (June 13 and 14) only and is joined by emcee Erica Sigurdson and middle Ben McGinnis.
