As part of its 30th-anniversary celebrations, Cirque du Soleil is hosting a free fireworks presentation at the Plaza of Nations on Saturday (June 21).

The display will follow the 8 p.m. performance of Totem, the dreamlike acrobatic spectacle that plays with themes of myth and evolution and runs at the Grand Châpiteau on South False Creek till July 6.

That means things will start to go boom in the night sky around 10:30 p.m.
