The Arts Club is holding over the new, locally created musical Onegin for a second--and final--time.

After the first extension of the work by Amiel Gladstone and Veda Hille completely sold out, the company is extending it for four more performances, from Friday (April 15) through to Sunday (April 17) at the Goldcorp Stage in the BMO Theatre Centre.

In his review, Straight critic Colin Thomas raved of the work, which reimagines the verse of Aleksandr Pushkin, "You’re lucky to be alive right now. Do you know why? Because you get to see Onegin. The show isn’t perfect, but Jesus does it have a vision! It’s thrilling."

This source material is a big departure for Gladstone and Hille, whose last collaboration, Do You Want What I Have Got? A Craigslist Cantata, was based on the text of online personal ads.
