Clothing optional at Kokoro Dance's Wreck Beach Butoh

    1 of 1 2 of 1

We’ve said it before, but we’ll quote it again, just because we love the way Kokoro Dance describes its annual Wreck Beach Butoh performance: “with set, costumes, and lighting provided by Mother Nature”. You’ll see what they mean if you head down the famous No. 4 Trail at UBC to the clothing-optional beach on Saturday (July 12) at 11:45 a.m. or Sunday (July 13) at 12:30 p.m. Look for the group of white-caked, naked dancers merging hauntingly with sand and sea. The show is by donation.
