A solid cast anchors The Glass Menagerie, put on by the Fire Escape Co-op at the Jericho Arts Centre from Friday (December 5) to December 21. Under the direction of Shawn Macdonald, veteran Vancouver actor Marilyn Norry takes on the role of the histrionic, faded-Southern-belle matriarch in Tennessee Williams’s breakout play. The show also stars Scott Button, Graeme A. McComb, and Christine Quintana, offering up a different sort of family story for the holiday time—one that has all the beauty and fragility of a broken glass unicorn.
