We’ve had a lot of rain this week, so the title of this concert, let alone the repertoire, is appealing to us big-time. Making Spirits Bright promises a joy-packed holiday concert by the 90-voice, nondenominational Good Noise Vancouver Gospel Choir on Friday and Saturday (December 12 and 13) at Christ Church Cathedral and Sunday (December 14) at Fraserview Mennonite Brethren Church in Richmond. The choir will be backed by a powerhouse band and features special guest folk artist Daniel Lapp on fiddle and trumpet in what just may turn out to be the feel-good concert of the season.
