This year, Living Oceans Society volunteers removed an estimated 40 tons of marine debris from northern Vancouver Island’s otherwise pristine beaches—and now you get to help by sitting in a comfy chair while listening to great music. Erato Ensemble’s The Living Ocean: Music Inspired by the Beauty, Power and Protection of the Sea, at the Orpheum Annex on Saturday (November 26), is a fundraiser for the Sointula-based group that focuses on the life aquatic.
