Two Broadway blockbusters and two retro-1960s musicals are set to hit town.

Andrew Lloyd Webber's larger-than-life The Phantom of the Opera sounds the organ again from July 11 to 23 at the Queen Elizabeth Theatre as part of the just-announced 2017-18 Broadway Across Canada season for Vancouver. It's said to have an even more spectacular new set design by Paul Brown.

Next up, the hills are alive from September 12 to 17, as the beloved classic The Sound of Music hits the same venue.

Jersey Boys, the hit musical about the rise of Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons from working-class kids to stars comes to the Queen E. from November 14 to 19.

And Motown the Musical rounds out the season on the same stage from February 6 to 11, 2018, telling the story of Motown’s founder Berry Gordy, who launched the careers of Diana Ross, Michael Jackson, Smokey Robinson and more.
