ADAMEVE/Man-Woman (Part 1) and Another You at the Scotiabank Dance Centre

For International Dance Day celebrations, Co. Erasga is bringing back its fearless ADAMEVE/Man-Woman (Part 1) and pairing it with the premiere of Another You by Germany’s COCOONDANCE (shown here). Starring Billy Marchenski and Alison Denham, the first piece strips its dancers literally and figuratively in a stylized Garden of Eden, with Bolero as the soundtrack. Another You comes fully clothed but also looks at the relationship between a man and a woman: it’s a coolly contemporary work that finds them each in front of a TV monitor and dancing within rectangles drawn on the floor. The show happens Saturday and Sunday (April 28 and 29) as part of International Dance Day celebrations at the Scotiabank Dance Centre.
