Armed at Pacific Theatre
It’s intriguing that two women should take on the idea of masculinity in the new play Armed—and even more so that their over-the-top comedy looks at a guy who tries to find his manhood by mutilating his body. We don’t want to give away too much, but try to picture a cannon arm—yes, you heard that right—and you’ll start to have a good idea of how outrageous things get. Dani Bryant and Andrea Loewen penned the play, presented by Xua Xua Productions from Wednesday (July 18) to July 21 at Pacific Theatre.
