Arts Umbrella Dance Company Season Finale at the Vancouver Playhouse

It’s produced dancers for companies from Ballet B.C. to Noord Nederlandse Dans. So the Arts Umbrella Dance Company’s big season finale is a bona fide chance to spot the stars of tomorrow—including Kiera Hill, who will apprentice with Ballet B.C. next season. Rigorously trained in the Umbrella’s professional program, the young dancers will take on choreography by big names like James Kudelka, Cherice and Aszure Barton, Simone Orlando, and Stephen Shropshire. The Expressions Festival year-end shows happen Friday and Saturday (May 25 and 26) at the Vancouver Playhouse.
